Jacqueline Brown
Executive Director, AIK Foundation
Ms. Brown brings many years of business management, marketing communications and creative experience to the AIK Foundation. Before becoming the Executive Director of the AIK Foundation and its project, Global Safe Haven Network, she was Associate Producer for TVA Productions, a leading media placement and news syndication company, working with many Fortune 500 companies and major networks such as Fox, ABC, CNN, as well as national print media. She worked directly with the Executive Director and President to produce various media packages for national audiences.
An accomplished musician and writer, she toured extensively throughout Canada, United States and Europe for 18 years. During this period she was a resident of Vancouver, Canada. In addition to her dedication to the AIK foundation she still is active in music and currently writing and producing a musical stage show. Jackie now lives in Los Angeles with her 15 year old son Konnor.

My personal traveling experiences have made me infinitely more aware of the risks that young travelers face today and the urgent need for education and protection while traveling. Sherry Virsen
Program Director
Ms. Virsen brings years of program development, planning and implementation, marketing, and production experience to the AIK Foundation/Global Safe Haven Network. As an independent producer Ms. Virsen oversaw the production of numerous national TV commercials, music videos, corporate training programs, infomercials and public service announcements. Ms. Virsen has produced programs for numerous nonprofit cultural arts organizations, was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Film Board and The Independent Feature Project North, and served on planning committees for Women In Film and Department of Peace-Los Angeles-District 30.
